The VectorVest Views is a daily newsletter that keeps traders abreast of the market conditions. A complete edition of the VectorVest Views is available each Friday by midnight EST. Monday through Thursday, the VectorVest Views will include a Timing section that is updated on a daily basis by 8 PM EST.
The following sections are included in the Views:
Overview: The Overview section will include important contact information for communicating with VectorVest, upcoming VectorVest events, seminars, and specials, and a weekly essay that is applicable to the current market conditions.
Valuation: The Valuation section reports whether the market is over or undervalued by comparing the VVC (VectorVest Composite) and (DJIA) Dow Jones Industrial Average to their respective VectorVest valuations.
Timing: The Timing section is reported on a daily basis and reviews the current status, as well as any changes, to the VectorVest timing indicators, the VVC, VVC RT (Relative Timing), BSR (Buy Sell Ratio), MTI (Market Timing Indicator). This section also identifies the direction of the Primary Wave, and Underlying Trend of the market. The daily version will include a recap of the market's activity, as well as guidance for prudent and aggressive investors based on the current day's trading.
Strategy: The Strategy section will include a recap of the market's activity, as well as guidance for prudent and aggressive investors based on the current day's trading. Monday through Thursday, this section will be part of Timing, but the Friday edition will be listed separately and include a Strategy of the Week. The Strategy of the Week, will change each week, and is meant as a tutorial, not a suggestion to change your stock selection strategy each week.
Climate: The Climate section reviews the status and change in the most influential economic factors driving the market - interest, inflation, and earnings. Indicators in this section include: CPI Inflation, CRB Inflation, 90 Day Treasury Bills, 10 Year Treasury Notes, 10 Year AAA Corporate Bonds, S%P 500 Earnings, S7P 500 Index, NYSE Advance/Decline, % Bullish Advisors, and a Composite of these indicators. In addition to showing the current level, these indicators are shown on the VectorVest scale of 0-2 to make identifying their trends quick and easy (above 1.00 favorable, below 1.00 unfavorable). Based on the trends of these indicators VectorVest will define the current market as a Bull or Bear Market according to the information found on the Truth Chart (VectorVest Views, 3/21/03).
Stocks: The Stocks section will include Selected Stocks chosen by thier numerical value of selected indicators.
Portfolio: The Portfolio section recaps changes made to the VSA Model Portfolio (For those of you who are Riding the Wave).
User Groups: The User Group section will list all the current National and International VectorVest User Groups. Contact information for a specific group can be obtained by contacting our customer service department, toll-free, 1-888-658-7638.
Products: The Product Section is list of all our products, services and pricing information.
