By default, searches will be run on all the stocks in the VectorVest database. UniSearch has the ability to "filter" your searches using specific Industry Groups, Business Sectors or WatchLists. Narrowing your searches to the hottest Industry Groups, the strongest Sectors, or an overall strong list of stocks in a specified WatchList can enhance your investment results.
Using the Filter By Feature:
Open UniSearch.
Select a search from the Search Directory
Click the first empty field in the Parameter Column.
Select Stocks; then Filter by. You are then given the option of running your search on a specific exchange, Industry Group, Business Sector, Portfolio, WatchList or Stock.
Click in the next empty field to select the Operator; Click the = sign.
Continue to the next empty field directly below Value.
Make your selection from the menu that appears.
