Quick Test

The Quick Test feature will determine a stock or group of stocks' individual and overall gain or loss over a period of time.  By default, the QuickTest start time will be the current time and date displayed in the Date/Time Control Window. In RealTime mode, the end time will also default to the current date and time. In End of Day Mode, the end date for the QuickTest will default to the close of the most recent trading day.

For convenience, the gain and loss calculations are also reported as an annualized rate of return.  The Compare feature allows the user to compare the performance of the tested stocks to that of another symbol.  The Quick Test feature is available in all Viewer screens, Portfolios and the UniSearch Tool.

To QuickTest using the Local Toolbar:

  1. Select the Viewers Tab or UniSearch .

  4. Left-click the drop down arrow beside the QuickTest Button.
