Tax Report

The VectorVest RealTime Tax Report has the ability to sort Long and Short holdings, for the portfolios entire history or calendar year. The report will give the stock name, date acquired, date sold, sales price, cost basis, and net gain or loss. The Tax Report may be further sorted by Long Term Holding (more than a year), Short Term Holding (less than a year), or All Holdings.

Accessing the Tax Report:

1. Select a portfolio. The selected portfolio will be highlighted on the left side.

2. Click the "Reports" Button on the Local Toolbar.

3. Select "View Tax Report".

After reviewing the report, you may choose to Export, Print, or Close the information screen.

Exporting the Tax Report:

1. Select a portfolio. The selected portfolio will be highlighted on the left side.

2. Click the "Reports" Button on the Local Toolbar.

3. Select "View Tax Report".

4. Click "Export" at the bottom of the Tax Report Window.

5. Select a destination to save your file and type the name of the file in the file name box.

6. Click "Save".

The file will be exported as a .csv (comma separated value) file, and can be opened with Excel, or imported into compatible programs. Note: Proprietary information will not be exported.

Printing the Tax Report:

1. Select a portfolio. The selected portfolio will be highlighted on the left side.

2. Click the "Reports" Button on the Local Toolbar.

3. Select "View Tax Report".

4. Click "Print" at the bottom of the Tax Report Window.

5. Click the Print Button on the Print Window.
