WatchLists

VectorVest Express allows you to manage and create WatchLists containing stocks of your choice. Once you have created a WatchList of stocks, you can rank the stocks by any of the VectorVest parameters.

 

WatchLists:

To access WatchLists, click on the link labeled Manage WatchLists or click on WatchLists on the VectorVest Express Toolbar. This will open up the WatchList page where you can add or edit WatchLists and WatchList Groups. You may also sort and graph the stocks in each WatchList as well as obtain Stock Analysis Reports.

 

Note: If you are also a VectorVest OnLine subscriber, your custom WatchLists contained in VectorVest OnLine will also be visible in VectorVest Express.

 

WatchLists are divided into several groups:

 

Dow Jones WatchLists: The Dow Jones WatchLists Group contains three WatchLists: the Dow Jones Industrials, the Dow Jones Transportation, and the Dow Jones Utilities.

 

Standard and Poors WatchLists: The Standard and Poors WatchLists Group contains four WatchLists: S&P 100, S&P 400 MidCap, S&P 500, and S&P 600 SmallCap.

 

Special WatchLists: This group contains a variety of Special WatchLists.

 

  1. Best New Highs: A WatchList of stocks that hit a new 52 week price high at some time during the week in which the WatchList is dated.

  2. Nasdaq 100

  3. Russell 2000

  4. W-O-W (WatchList of WatchLists): A WatchList of stocks which are being recommended by various popular newsletter writers and other publications. This WatchList is recreated each Friday.

  5. Worst New Lows: A WatchList of stocks that hit a new 65 day price low at some time during the week in which the WatchList is dated.

  6. Other Specialized WatchLists: These WatchLists are sometimes created from popular investing publications (Fortune, Forbes, Investors Business Daily, BusinessWeek, etc.).

 

Personal Custom WatchLists: A user can create their own groups of WatchLists.
